Mathnasium is looking for a passionate Math Instructor/Tutor to join our team in Moraga, California. This part-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of K-12th grade students, working in a fun and supportive environment. Tutors will provide instruction both in-person and online, assess student progress, and receive ongoing training.

• Must have exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.
• Must show eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Experience with K-12 students is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method.

• Collaborate with team members for individualized instruction.

What you will do as a Math Instructor / Tutor:

• Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes

As part of our hiring process here at Mathnasium, all applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
