Job summary

Mathnasium of South Charlotte and Monroe is seeking an Advanced Math Tutor to help K-12 students master math with the Mathnasium Method. This part-time role offers after-school and weekend hours, in-center and online instruction, and a supportive team culture.

You will assess progress, deliver individualized guidance, and use provided curriculum and tools to foster confidence and math success in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Strong capability in advanced math topics (Math III, Precalculus, Calculus, Statistics, SAT/ACT Math)

Responsibilities

• Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method and materials.
• Collaborate with team to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students' learning progress and engagement during sessions.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.

What you will do as a Math Tutor:

• Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes

As part of our hiring process here at Mathnasium, all applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.
