Position Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic Math Instructor / Tutor to create engaging and productive learning experiences for students. The ideal candidate is passionate, dedicated, and possesses excellent interpersonal, mathematical, and instructional skills. This role offers a unique career path focused on community service and student development, along with opportunities to enhance professional skills.

Applicants must pass a math literacy test, provide work authorization, and pass a background check. Training in the Mathnasium Method will be provided. This is a part-time role with flexible hours.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional instruction and tutoring services to students
• Engage positively with parents to build confidence and demonstrate program value
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
• Teach in-center, online, or hybrid sessions using the Mathnasium Method and individualized instruction techniques
• Assess student progress and collaborate with team members to optimize learning outcomes
• Evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework
• Maintain a clean and professional learning environment
• Assist with non-instructional tasks as needed
