Position Summary

Mathnasium of Bel Air seeks an exceptional Math Instructor / Tutor to create engaging and productive learning experiences for students. The ideal candidate is passionate, dedicated, and possesses excellent interpersonal, mathematical, and instructional skills. This role offers a unique career path focused on community help, student engagement, and professional development.

Applicants must take a math literacy test to demonstrate proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check. Training in the Mathnasium Method will be provided post-hire. This is a part-time role with flexible hours.

Job Responsibilities

1. Provide exceptional instruction and tutoring services to students.
2. Engage positively with parents to build confidence and demonstrate program value.
3. Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
4. Teach in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, including individualized instruction in a group setting.
5. Assess student progress and collaborate with team members to optimize learning experiences.
6. Evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework.
7. Maintain a clean and professional learning environment.
8. Assist with non-instructional tasks as needed.

Compensation: $13.00 per hour
