Position Summary

Mathnasium of Bedford is looking for an exceptional Math Instructor / Tutor to create an engaging learning experience for students. The ideal candidate is passionate, dedicated, and possesses excellent interpersonal and mathematical skills. This role offers a unique career path focused on community help, working with students, and developing professional skills.

Applicants must take a math literacy test, provide work authorization, and pass a background check. Training in the Mathnasium Method will be provided. This is a part-time role with flexible hours.

Job Responsibilities

1. Provide exceptional instruction/tutoring to students
2. Engage positively with parents and build confidence in the program
3. Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
4. Teach in-center, online, or via hybrid methods using the Mathnasium approach
5. Assess student progress and collaborate with team members
6. Evaluate and correct student work and homework
7. Maintain a clean and professional learning environment
8. Assist with non-instructional tasks as needed

Qualifications

1. Passion for math and working with students
2. Excellent interpersonal skills
3. Math competency through at least Algebra I
4. Ability to manage multiple tasks
5. Willingness to learn and undergo training

Compensation: $10.50 - $13.00 per hour
