  • Strong self‑motivation: ability to meet tight deadlines and balance multiple priorities.
  • Experience in curriculum development, implementation, and instruction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Business Suite preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional-level instruction in GED and CASAS reading and math preparation.
  • Monitor and support student progress, including math gains and CASAS/GED achievements.
  • Develop and maintain lesson plans aligned with course objectives.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and complete weekly reports as required.
  • Develop and maintain lesson plans aligned with course objectives and competency-based instruction.
  • Utilize computer-assisted instruction and cooperative learning techniques effectively.
  • Deliver necessary accommodations to students in compliance with program requirements.
  • Evaluate and document student progress, including case notes in CIS where appropriate.
  • Actively participate in departmental and all-staff meetings.
  • Complete required staff training in a timely manner.
  • Model, mentor, and monitor appropriate workplace behavior.
  • Ensure a clean and safe learning environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students and assist with retention efforts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
