Job summary

Mathnasium in United States (IL) is seeking a part-time Math Instructor to teach math to K-12 students after school and on weekends. You will be trained in the Mathnasium Method and work with a team to deliver engaging, student-centered lessons in a center setting.

Ideal candidates are passionate about math, enjoy working with children, and are available at least 3 days per week 3:00pm-7:00pm. Competitive hourly pay and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Math proficiency through algebra I minimum.

Responsibilities

• Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
