Job summary

Wiregrass Georgia Technical College seeks to recruit a Math Instructor to deliver mathematics instruction at the Valdosta Campus and in service-area high schools, developing lesson plans and course objectives.

The successful candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics (or a Master’s with 18 graduate hours in Mathematics), demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills, and contribute to curriculum development and student success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mathematics or Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in Mathematics from an ac колесcredited institution.
• Education courses related to the teaching of Math are not considered discipline specific in meeting this requirement.
• Coursework must be in Math or closely related discipline aligned to course competencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students in mathematics courses at the Valdosta Campus and high schools in the service area.
• Prepare lesson plans and develop program curriculum, syllabi, goals and objectives.
• Evaluate students’ progress and maintain required documentation and reports; participate in professional development.
