Mathnasium is seeking a part-time Instructor in Lino Lakes, MN to help K-12 students understand and enjoy math. You will create a positive learning environment, adapt lessons with technology, and support student progress.

Ideal candidates bring enthusiasm for STEM, strong communication, and a willingness to work with students of varied ages and skill levels. Flexible hours and opportunities for advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Strong math aptitude and a passion for STEM.
• High energy and a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with students of all ages and skill levels.
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Make learning math fun for students.
• Find joy helping K-12 students to improve their understanding of math.
• Embrace the use and application of technology to facilitate custom, individualized learning plans based on each student's needs.
• Create a positive and encouraging atmosphere for parents & students.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support that encourages professional growth.
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure the success of all students.
• Flexibility in learning a different style of teaching in order to best support students.
