Job summary

Mathnasium is seeking engaged Math Tutors to teach in-center, online, or hybrid formats using the Mathnasium Method. You’ll work with small groups, monitor progress, and adapt to each student’s needs.

Applicants should have a passion for math, strong interpersonal skills, and be eager to learn and be trained. Algebra I competency is required, with a math literacy test and background check as part of the process.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.
• Ability to balance various ongoing tasks; after intake, math literacy test and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment.
