Job summary

Central Georgia Technical College seeks an adjunct Mathematics Instructor to provide associate-level instruction for dual enrollment courses. The instructor will develop syllabi, plan lessons, and assess student progress while maintaining records and communicating with college staff.

Qualifications

• Earned master’s degree in mathematics from an accredited institution.
• Earned master’s degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (minimum 18 graduate semester hours in math or closely related discipline).
• Required documentation includes current resume, CGTC job application, and all transcripts uploaded to the CGTC portal.

Responsibilities

• Provide associate-level mathematics instruction in classroom settings.
• Develop syllabi and lesson plans; use appropriate testing and grading procedures.
• Maintain grade books and records; communicate effectively with students and staff.
• Possibly serve as lead instructor providing mentoring to adjunct faculty.
