Job summary

Stealth Startup in San Francisco is seeking a part-time Math Instructor to teach 3–6 PM, weekdays, in-person. You’ll use our enrichment-focused curriculum to engage K–12 students in small groups. You’ll review homework, assess progress, personalize instruction, share recaps with families, and report outcomes each semester.

Experience tutoring or teaching younger students is preferred. Strong math background and effective communication are important.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in math, science, engineering or related field preferred.
• Experience teaching or tutoring elementary or middle school students strongly preferred.
• Experience with math enrichment programs or competitions is a big plus.
• Confident communicator with strong classroom presence

Schedule Snapshot

• Teach 1–2.5 hours per day (most commonly 1.5+ hours) on mutually agreed weekdays
• Classes run between 3–6 PM on weekdays
• Our teachers usually teach 2-10 hours per week, over 1-5 days per week, based on your availability, student needs, and tenure with us
