An educational institution in South Carolina is seeking a qualified faculty member to teach mathematics courses at the associate degree level. Applicants must hold a doctorate or master's degree in mathematics or a related field, with significant coursework in the teaching discipline. Job ResponsibilitiesTeaching courses in mathematics, participate in curriculum and instruction material development, assessment functions, student advisement responsibilities, registration, recruitment and retention activities, college outreach activities and college committees. Participate in departmental, division, and college planning sessions in actively reaching and communicating the college’s mission and goals; and other duties as assigned.
Minimum and Additional RequirementsFaculty teaching associate degree courses designed for transfer to the baccalaureate degree: doctorate or master’s degree in mathematics or master’s degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline)
