Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum three years teaching experience required.
• Must demonstrate ability to create an atmosphere of trust and collaboration among staff.
• Knowledge of Texas Essential Knowledge & Skills (TEKS) and STAAR.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers with professional learning and coaching.
• Analyze student data to monitor achievement.
• Help implement and monitor reading, math, and intervention programs.

Skills

Deep knowledge of research-based reading strategies and best teaching practices

Understanding of curriculum, assessments and data analysis

Strong computer/technology skills (Microsoft Office, Google, SharePoint)

Strong interpersonal communication/presentation skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree from accredited university

Master’s degree (preferred)

Valid Texas teaching certificate, Secondary
