Description

Position Title: Math Grades 9-12 Summer School Teachers

Basic Function: Duties include providing differentiated, direct instruction and remediation for high school Mathematics core courses that could possibly lead to a Regent’s program.

Qualifications
  • NYS certification in all areas of Mathematics 9-12
  • Experience preferred.

The selected applicant will be subject to a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check in accordance with SAVE Legislation effective July 1, 2001.

Responsibilities
  • Curriculum instruction, supervision, and evaluation of students in need of remediation.
  • Assist students in developing content knowledge and skills to succeed during summer school.

Salary: $48.81 per hour (paid on an hourly basis)

Start Date: July 7, 2025 – August 20, 2025 – Monday to Thursday, 2-4 hours each day.

There will be a mandatory training on Monday, July 7th from 8 AM to 1 PM at the summer school location you will be assigned to teach.
