Job summary

University of North Texas System's UNT Dallas campus is seeking a Faculty Project Coordinator for Mathematics Developmental Education. The role administers the Trail Ready Summer Bridge program and teaches boot camps as a Lecturer, plus three math courses each fall and spring, while developing/developing curriculum for developmental math.

The position is 1.0 FTE with a salary commensurate with experience; duties include collaboration with campus stakeholders and contributing to student success

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in mathematics or related field from a regionally accredited university.
• Extensive experience teaching math developmental education.
• Experience with academic summer bridge programs.
• Documented experience in planning and organizing student programs.
• Academic experience working with diverse individuals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and teach Trail Ready boot camp sessions for students not yet meeting TSI readiness.
• Assist in program administration: recruiting TSI-liable students and evaluating program outcomes.
• Serve on the Development Education Committee and collaborate with campus stakeholders.
• Teach 18 hours of developmental math and co-requisite math courses as Lecturer.
• Coordinate developmental education curriculum and faculty development in Mathematics.
