Position Summary: Our campus has an immediate opening for a Math and Science Teacher. This position provides a student-centered, supportive classroom that promotes resourcefulness, critical thinking, self-awareness, and inclusion while addressing the individual academic and emotional needs of each student through Fusion's differentiated approach.

Pay Rate: $28.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities Include:

1. Provide one-to-one teaching in Math, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and possibly Statistics for grades 6-12.
2. Adapt and differentiate instruction for all students and foster holistic growth.
3. Maintain accurate teacher and student records.
4. Develop positive communication with parents.
5. Contribute to the campus community.
6. Engage in professional development and continuous improvement.
7. Include student mentoring as a significant part of the role.
8. Perform other duties as assigned, including tutoring part-time students.

Qualifications Required:

1. Bachelor's Degree and a strong background in Math and/or Science.
2. Solid knowledge in Math, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Statistics for grades 6-12.
3. Teaching credentials are a plus but not mandatory.
4. Experience with students with learning differences and ADHD is a plus.
5. Outgoing, organized, computer-savvy, and eager to work in a dynamic environment.
6. Prepared to teach and tutor high school level material immediately.
