TUTORS

Huntington Learning Center is hiring in-person, part-time tutors who have expertise and experience tutoring in different areas:

MATH TUTORS

• Huntington is looking for tutors with the ability to teach math topics ranging from Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2/Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus (including AP), through AP Calculus A/B, as well as SAT and ACT-level math.

READING COMPREHENSION/WRITING TUTORS

• Huntington is looking for tutors with the ability to teach reading comprehension, vocabulary development, grammar, and writing skills at all grade levels, including the possibility of SAT/ACT-level reading and grammar.

SCIENCE TUTORS

• Huntington Learning Center is also looking for tutors with the ability and experience teaching such science topics as chemistry, physics, and biology at both non-AP and AP-levels.

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE

• 4-YEAR DEGREE IS REQUIRED: A bachelor's degree is the minimum degree-level requirement. Candidates without a 4-year degree should not apply.
• This is an IN-PERSON position: A candidate must be able to work in person. Candidates in remote locations should not apply.
• Certification/License a plus, but not required.
• Experience levels can vary - current and retired teachers are encouraged. Professionals with expertise in other subject areas are welcome to apply.
• Must be a caring and qualified professional committed to the success of students.

THE OPPORTUNITY
