Job summary

AIM Private Clinic Education is seeking a Math and English Test Prep Tutor to work with high school students, primarily during evenings after school or weekends based on family needs. The role emphasizes mentorship and personalized instruction to build trust with students and families.

In-person sessions in the San Antonio area are required; virtual tutoring may be offered depending on family preferences. You should be confident with English and/or Math test content and adapt to changing student

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in related content area.
• Experience preparing students for College Entrance Exams.
• 1+ years of teaching and/or tutoring at HS level.
• Demonstrates content knowledge for Math and/or English.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle to travel in San Antonio area.
• US work authorization without visa sponsorship.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Be available for mentoring sessions in-person and online.
• Prepare lesson plans and materials for each session.
• Deliver tutoring services in a professional, quality manner.
• Record session details and updates in the provided spreadsheet.
• Escalate client inquiries promptly to AIM Private Clinic.

Compensation: $25-40/hr, depending on experience and teacher certification

Job Summary

AIM Private Clinic is currently seeking a Math and English Test Prep Tutor who feels confident working with high school students to prepare for collegiate testing. Timing of sessions is dependent on family need, but usually take place in the evening after school, or occasionally on the weekend if tutors are open in their schedule.

You should feel confident with English and/or Math standardized testing content enough to adapt to changing student needs.

Essential Job Functions

• Be reasonably available for Mentoring Sessions; both in-person and online
• Be prepared for each Mentoring Session; with lesson plans and/or session materials (we will help provide these!)
• Uses best efforts to provide the tutoring and/or educational services in a workmanlike and quality manner
• Informs AIM Private Clinic of the occurrence, location, date, and duration of each Mentoring Session between Contractor and Client (updated on convenient, provided spreadsheet)
• Refers immediately to AIM Private Clinic any inquiry from Client or any Client referral regarding tutoring and/or educational services
• Informs AIM Private Clinic immediately of any Client complaint, Client dispute or disagreement
• Attends monthly AIM Private Clinic meeting as designated by AIM Private Clinic Administrator(s)
• Maintains Confidentiality of AIM Private Clinic and its clients
• Submits documentation as needed

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in related content area
• Experience with preparing students for College Entrance Exams
• 1+ years of teaching and/or tutoring experience at the High School level
• Demonstrates content knowledge for Math and/or English
• Exhibits both personable and professional communication skills with both kids and adults
• Have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle to travel to sessions in the San Antonio area
• Able to work in the US without visa sponsorship
