Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate's Degree from accredited college or university preferred
• Appropriate certification/license from Ohio Department of Education
• Alternative qualifications to the above may be considered by the superintendent/board of education

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of students and protect equipment, materials, and facilities
• Provide private instruction to individuals or small groups to improve academic performance
• Create individualized student success plans by analyzing testing data and classroom performance
• Provide academic support across English, Math, Science, Social Studies
• Collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and counselors to assess needs and progress
• Communicate students' progress through reports, in person, by phone, or by email
• Prepare and facilitate workshops or sessions for small groups of students
