Job summary

In My Shoes is seeking Residential Support Specialists to provide safe, structured on-site presence at the maternity home, supporting resident mothers and babies across assigned shifts.

You will help with daily operations, childcare when needed, transportation, house rules, and trauma-informed care, while maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality in a compassionate, client-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification required (training provided).
• Valid driver’s license with clean record required.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site coverage during assigned shifts to ensure a safe, supportive home.
• Maintain a visible, approachable presence and welcome visitors.
• Guide residents on house rules and schedules; provide relational support.
• Assist with childcare when needed and provide transportation as scheduled.
• Uphold house rules and maintain professional boundaries.
