Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing by date of hire.
• BSN preferred; ADN acceptable depending on experience.
• One year hospital RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement a written plan of care addressing patient goals; refer to professionals as needed.
• Observe, document, and communicate plan; maintain accurate EMR documentation.
• Perform procedures including IV starts, blood administration, phlebotomy; comply with CLIA requirements.
• Administer medications per physician orders; monitor effects and allergies.
• Transition patients and provide timely reports to incoming staff.
• Inform physicians and team of condition changes; communicate clearly.
• Provide education and discharge information to patients and families.
• May precept new employees and oversee care team; perform other duties.
