LSU New Orleans is seeking a data analyst in the Morb Mort Epidemiology department to interpret, analyze, validate, and evaluate mortality data using statistical programs. You will handle confidential data, link Vital Records with LAHIDD, and support PAMR/LaPQC workflows to ensure timely, accurate reporting.

You will serve as the primary analytics liaison for data requests, contribute to CQI efforts, and help translate findings into actionable public health recommendations for state stakeholders.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree plus 3 years of professional experience, or 6 years of professional work experience.
• Excellent analytical, writing, and critical thinking skills; effective organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient with Zoom, Teams, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
