Job summary

Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD seeks a Project Research Associate to support maternal and family health research initiatives. You will coordinate study protocols, assist with data collection and analysis, and help translate findings into manuscripts and policy briefs.

You will contribute to CMAFH-related research, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and engage with community stakeholders. A Doctoral degree and strong writing skills are required for this role.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Services Research, Nursing, Social Work, or equivalent.
  • Experience with maternal health, family health, or related population health research.
  • Strong scientific writing and ability to produce manuscripts and reports.

Responsibilities

  • Support implementation of maternal and family health research studies, including coordination of protocols and IRB compliance.
  • Develop and refine study instruments and data collection tools.
  • Conduct data analysis using SAS, R, Stata, SPSS; assist with literature reviews to inform design.
  • Lead manuscript development and dissemination through journals and conferences.
  • Support community-engaged research with partnerships and stakeholder engagement.
  • Assist with grant reporting and development, including aims and methodologies.
