Job summary

Maternity Care Coalition (MCC) is seeking a Community Resource Advocate to guide community members to reproductive, sexual, maternal, and child health services, parenting supports, and social resources. The CRA conducts screenings, provides referrals, and maintains records, working both remotely and in-person during hours 9:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., 40 hours weekly, with some non-traditional evening shifts.

The role emphasizes outreach, collaboration with MCC programs, and strong data entry skills

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience in community-based programs or social service settings.
• Experience in a call center, healthcare, medical office, or customer service environment preferred.
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse populations and provide high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Responds to inquiries seeking reproductive, sexual, maternal, and child health services and resources.
• Maintains accurate records of contacts in MCC databases.
• Completes referrals and connects individuals to MCC programs and services.
• Represents MCC at outreach events and provider meetings as requested.
• Supports health promotion activities during outreach events.
