The practice features state-of-the-art technology and equipment, allowing specialists to provide exceptional care for high-risk pregnancies. With a collaborative team of four physicians, this facility offers a supportive and professional working environment.
Opportunity: Board Certified - Maternal Fetal MedicineThis position offers the potential for permanent placement for a qualified Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist. The role includes both clinical care and hospital consultations, with the opportunity to join an established team of four physicians in a well-respected practice.
Job Details: • Coverage hours from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm daily• Office/clinic work with hospital rounding responsibilities• Overnight consultative call (from Friday 5 pm to the following Friday 5 pm)• Seeking 4-5 days of availability; ability to take night call is advantageous• Call ratio of 1:5, with rare instances of being called in during overnight hours• Approximately 15 scheduled patients per day• Procedures include management of genetic disorders, pre-eclampsia, multiple pregnancies, growth restriction, chromosomal abnormalities, congenital abnormalities, pre-term labor, hypertension, thrombophilia, and birth defects• Must be skilled in performing amniocentesis procedures• Clean background check required (no malpractice history)• Requirements: Board Certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine, completed Fellowship, active Ohio medical license• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 4-8 weeks with a clean file• Facility reimburses for travel expenses including flights, hotel, rental car, and mileage at the IRS standard rate
