Job description

Our client in Richmond, VA is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician for a full-time assignment.

Job Details:

1. Start: ASAP
2. Open to part-time with guaranteed hours (NO Per Diem) or full-time candidates
3. Outpatient practice setting
4. Coverage needed due to a new position
5. Desired start date is as soon as credentialed
6. Responsibilities include outpatient clinics, consults, and limited inpatient procedures at two hospitals
7. No deliveries required
8. Part of a 2+ physician MFM practice offering consult-only services
9. Supported by Nurse Practitioners at two outpatient clinic locations
10. Procedures include cerclages (20-30/year) and in-office Amniocentesis
11. Associated with Level 2 and Level 3 NICUs covered by Pediatrix neonatologists and NNPs
12. Opportunities for full-time, part-time, Medical Director, per diem, in-clinic-only, or on-call roles
13. Practice uses Viewpoint and EPIC systems
14. At least 1 year of MFM experience (excluding fellowship) preferred; new/fellowship graduates are welcome
15. This is a permanent position requiring residency in the immediate local area; relocation may be needed
16. Not suitable for providers with long commutes (>1 hour) or multiple jobs
17. Not open to providers with lapsed Board Certification
18. Not open to locum, 1099, visa candidates, or those seeking alternate shifts

Job Requirements:

1. Board Certified in OB/GYN - REQUIRED
2. Board Eligible (1-5 years from residency) or Board Certified in MFM - REQUIRED
3. Fellowship-trained in MFM (to be completed prior to start) - REQUIRED
4. VA license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
5. BLS, ACLS (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
6. Clean malpractice and license history - REQUIRED
7. At least 1 year of MFM work experience (excluding fellowship) - PREFERRED
8. Visa support requirements (J1 or H1B) - REQUIRED
9. Interest in FT or PT employment (NO Per Diem) - REQUIRED
