Job description

Seeking a BE/BC Maternal Fetal Medicine physician in Lafayette, IN. The interested candidate will join a consultative-only practice offering services such as: high-risk pregnancy consultation, routine and detailed fetal anatomic survey, prenatal screening, and fetal diagnostic testing.

About the position:

The ideal candidate will provide maternal and fetal care with a strong emphasis on prenatal diagnosis and treatment, while maintaining compassionate, clinical excellence, and patient satisfaction.

• Clinic hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Consult-only call schedule with no prenatal care or deliveries
• Shared call

Strong referral base from network OB-GYNs. Average outpatient volume: 6 to 10 patients per day. Inpatient consultations at a single facility with a Level 3 NICU.

Procedures include:

• Amniocentesis
• Preferred, but not required procedures:
• Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS)
• Percutaneous Umbilical Cord Blood Sampling (PUBS)
• Intrauterine Transfusion

On-site equipment includes GE Voluson E10 and Viewpoint Software. The Cincinnati Children’s Fetal Care Center is only 2 hours away.
