The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at our esteemed medical school on the Gulf Coast is seeking candidates for our vibrant Maternal Fetal Medicine Division at the level of Assistant Professor. The physician will provide outpatient and inpatient consultative services for high-risk pregnancies, with an interest in medical and student education. Special interests in genetics and opioid use during pregnancy are potential areas of growth. Our department is also launching new initiatives, including Telehealth Medicine.
Our antepartum and Labor and Delivery Units are located at the state-of-the-art Children’s and Women's Hospital, featuring a Level III NICU with a capacity of 130 beds. Faculty practices and ultrasound units are situated in the modern Patient Care Center. We have active divisions in General Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Reproductive Endocrinology, and Gynecologic Oncology services.
Qualifications include an MO/DO degree, completion of a 4-year ACGME-accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency, and ABOG-recognized Maternal Fetal Medicine fellowship. Candidates must be BC/BE in Obstetrics and Gynecology and in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
