Job summary

AtlantiCare, a not-for-profit community health system in southeast New Jersey, seeks a Perinatologist to join a collaborative team of 3 Perinatologists and 2 APNs. The outpatient practice spans two sites, Pomona and Atlantic City, with a 5-day work week Monday–Friday and rotating call including weeknights and 24-hour weekend shifts.

Inpatient work includes a 22-bed Level III NICU at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center for Childbirth.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with OB Generalists and Neonatologists; utilize Cerner EMR and GE Viewpoint for ultrasound reporting.

About the Opportunity:

• Team: Join a collaborative team of 3 Perinatologists and 2 APNs
• Schedule: 5-day work week, Monday-Friday
• Call: Rotating consultative call schedule
  • Weeknights: 6pm-8am
  • 24-hour weekend call: Saturday 8am-Monday 8am

Outpatient Practice:

• Locations: Two modern practice sites in Pomona and Atlantic City (providers rotate between both)
• Support: Practice Manager, RN Clinical Manager, Registered Nurses, Perinatal Sonographers
• Facilities:
  • New Medical Arts Pavilion at the Atlantic City campus, offering Family Planning Services, Safe Beginnings Program, and Centering for Childbirth
  • Obstetric Medicine Clinic for postpartum management
  • Remote patient monitoring for diabetic and hypertensive patients
• EMR: Cerner EMR & GE Viewpoint for ultrasound reporting

Inpatient Practice:

• Hospital: AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center for Childbirth (Pomona, NJ)
• Consults: Consultative services to OB Generalists and Neonatologists
• Facility Features:
  • 22-bed Level III NICU
  • 9 L&D labor beds
  • 25 private postpartum beds, each with a private shower
