Job summary

University of Texas at Austin - Dell Medical School is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor of Maternal Fetal Medicine to provide evidence-based, multidisciplinary care for high-risk obstetrics patients and to educate the next generation of leaders in maternal fetal medicine.

The successful candidate will contribute to research and the development of care pathways, collaborate with UT Austin schools, and help grow a fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine within the Department of Women''s

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
• Eligible for appointment as an Assistant / Associate Professor.
• Record of leadership and achievement in academic medicine.
• Evidence of scholarly productivity.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee high-risk obstetrics care initiatives.
• Foster care integration across community and hospital facilities.
• Develop cross-continuum care pathways based on evidence.
• Incorporate patient-reported outcomes into clinical workflows.
• Create care guidelines for high-risk obstetrics.
• Develop partnerships in Austin and Central Texas.
• Mentor medical students, residents and fellows.
• Contribute to fellowship development in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
• Collaborate with UT system schools on value-based care models.
