Job summary

Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) in Asheville, NC seeks an experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to join a nationally recognized academic/clinical team. The role blends complex patient care, teaching, research collaboration, and regional leadership to advance maternal health across Western North Carolina.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of clinical MFM practice beyond fellowship.
• Demonstrated academic interest through published or presented research and leadership in diverse faculty and learners.

Responsibilities

• Core faculty member and clinician for a rural MFM program.
• Supervise MFM fellows, OB/GYN residents, and medical students in MAHEC settings.
• Participate in the didactic curriculum, fellow evaluations, and regional teaching.
