Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a clinical field required.
• Minimum of five years of clinical experience with supervisory experience.
• ARDMS OB/GYN and Fetal Echocardiogram certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical practice of sonographers and staffing levels.
• Develop and implement performance improvement activities and QA of images.
• Manage personnel actions including hiring, orientation, performance appraisals, promotions and scheduling; counsel and discipline.
• Market imaging services to referring physicians and improve customer satisfaction.
• Assist with ultrasound budget components and analyze financial data; propose corrective actions.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary teamwork and guide education and competency development.
• Resolve personnel issues related to objectives, budgets, facility, equipment and operations.
• Conduct performance evaluations for team leaders.
• Collaborate across DUHS system to reduce costs and enhance imaging revenues.
