Job summary

Compass Government Solutions seeks experienced Maternal Child Registered Nurses to provide inpatient nursing services in support of a 24-hour, seven-day-per-week operation within the Labor and Delivery Unit at Brooke Army Medical Center. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care within established standards and privileges.

This role requires strong critical-care assessment skills, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to respond effectively to rapidly changing patient conditions.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher required.
• Current RN license in any U.S. state.
• Active ACLS/ALS and NRP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient maternal-child nursing care in L&D and related units.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor effects, including IV therapies.
• Operate critical-care equipment and respond to emergencies.
• Document and communicate patient information to the care team.
