Job summary

Overlake Medical Center & Clinics in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Materials Technician to manage the workflow of storage and distribution for general, medical, and surgical supplies. The role includes stocking, restocking carts, and maintaining accurate inventory movements in MMIS.

This full-time night-shift position requires a high school diploma, a valid WA driver’s license, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Valid WA Driver’s license required.
• Six months prior materials management experience within a healthcare institution preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in the English language.
• Frequent periods of walking, lifting, and standing. Work is performed in a clean, climate-controlled, well-lit environment.

Responsible for the workflow processes involved in the storage and distribution of general, medical, and surgical supplies and equipment, including the stocking, counting, and distributing of supplies, and recording the movement of supplies in and out of inventories using the materials management information system (MMIS). The Materials Technician is assigned to several units and is responsible for restocking supply carts, adjusting the mix of supply items and par levels. Also interacts continually and effectively with the staff, responding to and anticipating their needs in a timely manner, and giving updates on new supply items.

Full Time / Night Shift

Schedule: 10:00pm-6:30am
