Job summary

Performance Drone Works (PDW) is seeking a Materials Team Lead to oversee material movement in warehouse and production, including receiving, issuing, and ERP-based inventory control. You will join a leadership team driving material initiatives to ensure accuracy and timely availability for multi-assembly production.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years in shipping/logistics in manufacturing, with 2+ years leading a team and NetSuite ERP experience. Forklift certification is a plus; U.S.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in shipping, logistics, or fulfillment in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 2 years leading or coordinating a warehouse team.
• Familiarity with ERP systems; NetSuite WMS experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory and system accuracy.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, support, and coordinate kitting materials for work orders to support production in a multi-assembly operation.
• Serve as a hands-on lead by working alongside the materials team while providing direction, guidance, and support during daily operations.
• Set daily assigned tasks and priorities, and balance workloads to support schedules and work order release.
• Work alongside the materials team while providing direction, guidance and support during daily operations.
• Mentor and train all Material Handlers as needed.
• First-level point of escalation for internal requests, problems, material shortages, kitting issues, and inventory discrepancies.
• Oversee, support, and coordinate repacking incoming materials and material storage organization.
• Coordination of receive and put-away processes into ERP system (NetSuite).
• Coordination of cycle counting maintaining accurate inventory and transactions.
• Demonstrate a high proficiency with company’s ERP system (NetSuite) for kitting, receiving, and work order transactions.
• Collaboration with external and internal vendors to resolve paperwork discrepancies to support work order transactions and receiving process with an advanced understanding of ERP with an emphasis on material movement and consumption.
• Coordination of cycle counting maintaining accurate inventory and transactions with ability to analyze material discrepancies and resolve in ERP system with root cause analysis along with critical thinking skills when problem solving inventory accuracy issues.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to investigate CAR resolutions, problem solving during day to day and QA issues.
• Partner closely with Quality Assurance for incoming inspection scheduling and coordination and participation in the Material Review Board (MRB) and dispositioning of material.
• Support identification of planning risks such as shortages or schedule delays to ensure an accurate Clear To Build signal and elevate as required.
• Actively identify continuous process improvement opportunities to enhance speed, accuracy, and compliance in the receiving process.
