Job summary

Clayton is seeking a production team lead to drive efficiency, quality and performance on the assembly line in Morristown, TN. You will train Team Members for production certifications and coordinate with material handlers to ensure timely supply of materials.

As a pivotal member of the production team, you’ll support the Area Coordinator and Production Manager, assign daily tasks, oversee cross-training, maintain a clean workspace, and handle other duties as needed to keep operations running

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; college education preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Basic math skills; ability to use Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide training for certification of production Team Members
• Communicate materials needs to material handlers
• Support Area Coordinator, Production Manager, and Team Members through daily Huddle Meetings
• Assign daily tasks to each Team Member and ensure cross-training/job rotation is being performed
• Ensure organization/cleanliness of work area
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Area Coordinator and Production Manager
• Other duties as assigned

Summary
