Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Materials & Supply Planner in the United States (Wisconsin) to manage materials flow, inventory levels and planning for raw materials, finished goods and parts. This role emphasizes accurate planning and efficient material handling across the supply chain.

You will coordinate movements from suppliers through production to customers, and help optimize policies and processes. SAP experience is preferred and a Bachelor’s degree is required for consideration.

Materials & Supply Planner
Pay: $25-27
Duration:3 - 6 months - worker will be covering for a leave
Shift: 8AM - 5PM
Education: Bachelors degree

Roles related to the logistics of raw materials, finished products and parts. Activities focus on inventory management, material handling and planning, logistics and delivery to the customers. Includes the development and implementation of policies and processes, and developing supply chain designs, models, and processes. Determines material requirements and plans, schedules and coordinates movement of materials from suppliers as well as product and material movement through production.

PREFERRED: experience with SAP

IMPACT: Impacts the results of own team with own contributions.

COMPLEXITY: Performs routine assignments using existing procedures OR works autonomously within established procedures and practices that require knowledge of concepts and procedures within a job discipline OR specialized technical expertise within an analytical/scientific method or operational process.

ACCOUNTABILITY/ INDEPENDENCE: Accountable for the quality of own work. Receives instruction, guidance and direction from more senior level roles.

EXPERIENCE: Typically graduate background with little professional experience. Non-graduate jobholders require a substantial amount of professional experience and additional qualifications that also provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts.

EXPERIENCE: Typically reports to a Manager role, Project Manager role for a defined period of time based on organizational set-up (there is not necessarily a difference in role level between a manager and its direct reports - same level or lower level reporting is possible, provided job scope and responsibilities are clearly distinct); typically no direct reports.
