Job summary

At MKS Inc., the Materials Supervisor will lead inbound and internal material flow across the warehouse, reporting to the Sr. Materials Supervisor.

The role ensures timely material availability to support production and customer requirements, partnering with Production, Planning, Quality and Supply Chain teams. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of supervision experience in distribution or manufacturing, and a solid grasp of receiving, inventory control, kitting, and ERP/MRP systems, with a focus

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 3–5 years of related experience in distribution or manufacturing
  • Experience leading or supervising teams
  • Strong understanding of receiving, inventory control, and kitting processes
  • Experience with ERP/MRP (Oracle preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Lead inbound warehouse and material flow operations including receiving and kitting.
  • Ensure accurate material receipt, transactions, and availability.
  • Drive inventory accuracy through cycle counts and corrective actions.
  • Establish standard work, safety practices, and warehouse procedures.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Planning, Production, Quality, and Procurement.
  • Coach and develop team members to drive performance.
  • Monitor performance with KPIs and support continuous improvement.
  • Escalate operational risks and support leadership resolutions.
