Job summary

Paylocity is seeking an inventory/materials handler to maintain raw material inventory accuracy and organize storage. Materials must be processed timely, accurately and stored efficiently.

The role involves verifying remnant material details, coordinating scrap with procurement, performing cycle counts, and keeping the stockroom in order while delivering solid internal customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Overhead crane and fork truck usage.
• XRF Analyzer.
• Measuring tools including tape measures, calipers and micrometers.
• Basic computer skills including data entry, email, and general Acutec electronic systems.
• Organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Verifies alloy, quantities and sizes of remnant material into and out of the stockroom.
• Coordinate obsolete material scrap with procurement.
• Perform cycle counts to assure accuracy of inventory levels.
• Perform housekeeping chores as department requirements dictate.
• Investigative skills.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Uses procedures and work instructions to disposition remnant material as either scrap, or re-stocked.
• Processes materials and components to and from inventory in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with documented work instructions and procedures.
• Provides accurate counts and conducts cycle counts.
• Provides strong internal customer service.
