Job summary

Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, bin, ship, and issue materials and aircraft parts.
  • Create Repair Orders for unserviceable parts as directed by current contracts.
  • Ensure parts and materials are available for daily maintenance workload.
  • Process serviceable and unserviceable aircraft part returns as required.
  • Perform receiving inspection functions on behalf of Quality Control under the oversight of the Material Operations Manager or Supervisor.
  • Execute monthly and weekly tasks such as Calibration & Shelf‑Life review and Cycle/Inventory counts.
  • Utilize computer systems to maintain and update inventory in a timely manner.
  • Monitor shipping and station supplies; advise Supervisor of shortages and requirements.
  • Operate forklift to load and unload parts and materials, and frequently lift, carry, push, or pull moderate‑weight objects (up to 50 pounds).
  • Drive through city traffic to make pick‑ups and deliveries or conduct field inventories when necessary.
  • Assist with reorder point updates and review planned maintenance for material requirements to support the maintenance schedule.
  • Receive and properly tag customer parts and materials; update the customer’s inventory tracking system as required.
  • Complete required training and maintain currency on recurring training requirements.
  • Complete additional assignments and tasks as directed by the Material Operations Manager or Supervisor.
  • Work flexible hours, including standby, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
Basic Qualifications
  • Read and write English.
  • Pass airport security background checks and travel for work as required.
  • Have good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess a current valid driver’s license.
  • Frequently stand, walk, use hand and finger dexterity, climb, balance, bend, or crawl, occasionally from heights in precarious places.
  • Frequently lift, push, or carry items up to 50 pounds.
  • Be aware of working near moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic chemicals, and loud noises.
  • Operate equipment and read technical information.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold.
Preferred Qualifications

One (1) year experience in inventory, warehousing, distribution, or related functions; previous airline or MRO experience; experience with computer‑based inventory systems.
