Caterpillar in Mapleton, Illinois is seeking a Materials Specialist (3P51) for the 3rd shift to manage material flow, inventory accuracy, and shipping/receiving across the plant. The role requires safe operation of material handling equipment and coordination with multiple departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, documentation verification, and use of SAP for material movement.

Qualifications

• Operate forklifts, power trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Receive, store, move, and distribute materials throughout the facility.
• Process inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Support shipping and receiving operations, including preparing and verifying documentation.
