Job summary

Master-Bilt Products, LLC in Hudson, WI is seeking a full-time Shipping/Receiving associate. The role oversees crating, warehousing, and handling of finished Walk-In sections, with emphasis on custom crating solutions. Hours are 5am-3:30pm, Monday-Thursday, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Proper PPE usage including eye/ear protection, respirators, protective clothing, and fall restraint harnesses.
• Able to work 40 hours per week and be available for overtime when necessary.
• Reading, writing and basic math in English.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Pull and package all orders.
• Check for completeness and accuracy.

• Prepare all sections for outgoing shipments.
• Packaging setup materials.
• Assist supervisor in monitoring inventory levels.
• Ensure accuracy of pick list and work orders.
• Move completed sections to shipping area.
• Inspect for defects and report to Supervisor/Group Leader.
• Maintain general area housekeeping.
• Follow safety regulations and company policies.
• Operate forklift to move finished panels to shipping area.

Examples of Duties:

• Pull and package all orders

• Operates the stretch wrapping machine.
• Prepares all sections for outgoing shipments.
• Packaging set up materials.
• Assist supervisor in monitoring inventory levels of stock sections.
• Ensures the accuracy of pick list and work order list.
• Transfers completed sections throughout the plant.
• Inspects for defects and reports them to the Supervisor or Group Leader.
• Responsible for housekeeping around his/her general area.
• Complies with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintenance of forklift(s).
• Safety Regulations.
• Operates forklift to move finished panels to shipping area.
• Any other duties assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to plan ahead and anticipate consequences.
• Ability to perform the work with concern for the safety of self and others.

Education & Essential Qualifications:

• Must have the ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to properly utilize provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including eye protection, hearing protection, half-face and/or Powered Air Purifying Respirators, protective clothing, and fall restraint harnesses.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week and be available for overtime when necessary.
• Available for training in various duties.
• Consistently/Frequently - see (vision), hear, ability to read and write, ability to interpret information, basic math, reading, and writing in English.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Up to 2 years of forklift experience desired
• Excellent attendance record and work history.
