Job summary

Refrigerated Solutions Group in Hudson, WI is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Associate to oversee the crating process and manage all shipping, warehousing and handling for finished Walk-In sections, including custom crating solutions.

Responsibilities include pulling and packaging orders, checking for completeness, operating the stretch wrap machine, preparing sections for shipping, and maintaining plant safety with forklift operations; overtime may be required.

Pay: $20-25 / hour

Location: Hudson, WI

Hours: 5am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday

Summary

Responsible for overseeing the crating process and managing all shipping, warehousing, and handling activities for finished Walk-In sections, with a specialization in building and managing custom crating solutions.

Examples Of Duties

• Pull and package all orders
• Check for completeness and accuracy
• Operates the stretch wrapping machine.
• Prepares all sections for outgoing shipments.
• Packaging set up materials.
• Assist supervisor in monitoring inventory levels of stock sections.
• Ensures the accuracy of pick list and work order list.
• Transfers completed sections throughout the plant.
• Inspects for defects and reports them to the Supervisor or Group Leader.
• Responsible for housekeeping around his/her general area.
• Complies with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintenance of forklift(s).
• Safety Regulations.
• Operates forklift to move finished panels to shipping area.
• Any other duties assigned by supervisor.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to plan ahead and anticipate consequences.
• Ability to perform the work with concern for the safety of self and others.

Education & Essential Qualifications

• Must have the ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to properly utilize provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including eye protection, hearing protection, half-face and/or Powered Air Purifying Respirators, protective clothing, and fall restraint harnesses.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week and be available for overtime when necessary.
• Available for training in various duties.Consistently/Frequently - see (vision), hear, ability to read and write, ability to interpret information, basic math, reading, and writing in English.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Up to 2 years of forklift experience desired
• Excellent attendance record and work history.
