Job summary

Staffactory LLC in Hershey, PA is seeking a Materials Services - Warehouse associate to handle inventory control, stocking bin locations, applying charge stickers, and requisitioning items from inventory to user departments.

You will verify requisitions in the MMIS, protect inventory integrity, assist in receiving shipments, and support customer requests for supplies, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year hospital med/surg supply inventory control experience including MMIS, inventory transactions, perpetual inventory, cycle counting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill customer requests for products and route to customers in a timely manner.
• Count and replenish customer inventory sites on a scheduled basis and maintain secondary inventory locations.
• Cycle counting and adjustment of inventory locations.
• Identify patient charge items and apply charge stickers appropriately.
• Verify information on customer requisitions and enter into the MMIS.
• Protect inventory at all times including area security and product integrity.
• Assist in the receiving of incoming shipments to ensure accuracy.
• Assist customers in specific requests for supplies.

40 hours per week

Shifts are as follows:

Monday Friday 7:30 4pm (2 openings) Saturday Thursday 7:30am 4pm (1 opening) Saturday Thursday 4pm Midnight (1 opening)

Summary

Responsible for performing the tasks associated with controlling inventoried supplies. This includes stocking of bin locations, placing charge stickers on chargeable items, requisitioning items from inventory to user departments, and checking stock items for proper counts and rotation of stock, including removal of outdates.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

- The percentage of time spent performing essential functions is 95%.

Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:

• Fill customer requests for products and routes to customers in a timely manner.

• Count and replenish customer inventory sites on a scheduled basis and maintain secondary inventory locations.

• Cycle counting and adjustment of inventory locations.

• Identify patient charge items and apply charge stickers appropriately.

• Verify information on customer requisitions and enter into the materials management information system (MMIS).

• Protect inventory at all times including area security and product integrity.

• Assist in the receiving of incoming shipments to ensure accuracy.

• Assist customers in specific requests for supplies.

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES

- The percentage of time spent performing secondary functions is 5%.

The following duties are considered secondary to the essential duties listed above:

• Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

• One (1) year of hospital med/surg supply inventory control experience required to include: Materials Management Information System Experience, Inventory Transactions (ex. Receipts, Issues, Credits), Inventory Adjustments (ex. Shrinkage, Obsolescence, Conversions, Outdates, Etc.), Perpetual Inventory Experience and Cycle Counting preferred
