Actalent is seeking a Materials Laboratory Chemist to support product development, quality investigations, and material validation through testing and characterization of polymers, elastomers, plastics, and composites. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related scientific field.
• 1–3 years of lab/materials testing experience.
• Experience with polymers or engineered materials preferred.
• Familiarity with industry testing standards.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and lab data systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, physical, thermal, and chemical testing of materials.
• Analyze test results and prepare technical reports and data summaries.
• Develop and improve laboratory test methods and procedures.
• Support failure investigations and root cause analysis.
