Job summary

As an intern, you will perform measurements, analyze data, and support R&D and manufacturing teams, contributing to sustainability goals while gaining insights into product development and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a BS program in Materials Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics or related field; completed analytical/instrumental chemistry.
• Experience with analytical data analysis, statistics software and data interpretation.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Creative mindset to explore problems beyond the immediate task and adapt to results.

Responsibilities

• Perform relevant analytical measurements using scientific instrumentation and interpret the results.
• Consider how laboratory scale results can be extrapolated to industrial production for a product.
• Take part in weekly meetings to discuss plant operations, R&D, product development, materials characterization, and experimental planning.
• Provide services or recommendations for the use of appropriate scientific instrumentation to measure material properties.
