Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. is hiring for a Materials Program Manager within the Global Factory Repair Organization (GFRO). The role focuses on analyzing material requirements, coordinating with procurement and planning teams, and ensuring material readiness to support production and repair objectives at the Chandler, AZ site.

You will drive continuous process improvements, collaborate across functions, and optimize inventory to enable scalable growth. Strong ERP/MRP and SAP experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in production control, materials planning, inventory control.
• Hands-on experience with production control and materials management in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage data and resolve material or process issues.

Responsibilities

• Forecasts and communicates engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements to suppliers.
• Coordinates demand signals through MRP to minimize inventory exposure.
• Supports the creation, releases, and updates to new project materials strategy.
• Participates in commercialization (transition) materials plan and material change control processes.
• Monitors supplier performance, negotiates where needed, and ensures cost/objective targets are met.
