Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology is seeking a Materials Program Manager I in Austin, TX to lead material planning and supply chain strategies for critical programs serving ASML. You will ensure timely availability of components, drive material flow, mitigate risks, and coordinate with internal teams and external partners to align material plans with program milestones.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing, semiconductor experience preferred, strong purchasing skills, and proficiency with SAP

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing industry, ideally semiconductor.
• Strong purchasing experience in commodity management and customer-facing experience.
• Frequent communications with cross-functional teams in US, Europe, and Asia.
• Experience in Materials Program Manager or Procurement, Planning & Supply Chain.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and ERP systems.
• Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Oversee material requirements and supply chain activities for assigned programs, ensuring alignment with business strategies and objectives.
• Partner with CM's, OEMs, suppliers, engineering, planning, and procurement teams to proactively identify risks and optimize material flow.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for material supply challenges.
• Serve as escalation point for material issues and lead resolution to support production schedules.
• Coordinate demand signals through MRP to minimize inventory exposure and optimize supply planning.
• Design inventory programs (e.g., VMI, JIT) and recommend risk buys or consignment to reduce lead times and improve cash flow.
• Analyze BOM for risk, assess burst demand, and develop plans to meet customer requirements.
• Manage inventory allocation strategies, supply recovery plans, and constrained material scenarios.
• Lead cross-functional teams to address supplier performance issues and provide input on supplier selection and assessment.
• Utilize advanced analytics, SAP S/4HANA, MRP systems, and BI tools to drive material planning and supply chain performance.
