Westlake Global Compounds in Gallman, MS is seeking an experienced Purchasing professional to manage tangible goods, packaging, and other operating supplies for the site. The role covers a $3–$10MM operations budget and CAPEX purchases, with roughly 4,000 purchase orders processed annually.

Required: high school diploma and ten years of maintenance/operations or supply chain experience in manufacturing; SAP and MS Office proficiency; strong interpersonal, analytical, and negotiating skills.

Mansioni

• Procure tangible goods, packaging, and operating supplies for the Gallman, MS site.
• Convert requisitions into POs crafted by plant personnel.
• Process purchase orders in SAP for tangible goods, packaging, and project supplies.
• Assist with bid comparisons and supplier selections per policy.
• Expedite critical orders to avoid downtime.
• Maintain a Preferred Vendor File based on cost, quality, and reliability.
• Coordinate with Accounting to resolve billing discrepancies and support contracts.
